India’s swashbuckling batsman and wicketkeeper Sanju Samson may not have been included in Team India for the ICC T20 World Cup-2022, but he was selected for India-A for the 3-match ODI series against New Zealand-A. Prithvi Shaw, who scored a century in the semi-final match played against Central Zone in the Duleep Trophy, could not play a big innings here. Only 17 runs came off his bat in this match. Rituraj Gaikwad scored 41 runs and kept going. Batting at number four, Rajat Patidar, along with captain Samson, performed well and led India to victory. India won this match in just 31.5 overs. Sanju Samson made 29 off 32 balls and Rajat Patidar scored 45 runs in 41 balls and remained not out.
