Vaibhav and Yashasvi Create Rajasthan’s Highest Partnership
Chasing 210, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave Rajasthan a flying start, putting on a 166-run stand for the first wicket. This partnership was broken by Prasidh Krishna, who dismissed Vaibhav. It became Rajasthan’s highest-ever partnership for any wicket, surpassing the previous best of 155 runs by Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal against Delhi Capitals in 2022.
Most Sixes in an IPL 2025 Innings
Vaibhav smashed 11 sixes during his innings—the most by any batter in an IPL 2025 match. He surpassed Abhishek Sharma (who hit 10 sixes against Punjab Kings) and Shreyas Iyer (who hit nine sixes against Gujarat).
Second-Fastest Century by an Indian in IPL History
At just 14 years and 32 days, Vaibhav broke Yusuf Pathan’s 15-year-old record to become the fastest Indian to score an IPL century.
Yusuf Pathan had scored a century off 35 balls for Rajasthan Royals against Mumbai Indians in 2010.
Vaibhav has now broken that, though the overall fastest century record still belongs to Chris Gayle (30 balls, Pune Warriors, 2013).
Youngest Player to Score a T20 Century
Vaibhav became the youngest player ever to score a century in T20 cricket.
He achieved this feat at the age of 14 years and 32 days, breaking Vijay Zol’s record (who scored a T20 century at 18 years and 118 days in 2013).
Vaibhav scored his half-century off 17 balls and completed his century in just 18 more deliveries.
He made 101 runs off 38 balls with a staggering strike rate of 265.78, hitting seven fours and 11 sixes.
Yashasvi’s Steady Knock
After Vaibhav’s dismissal, Yashasvi Jaiswal completed his half-century off 31 balls, recording his fifth fifty of this season and 14th of his career. He remained unbeaten on 70 runs from 40 balls.
Riyan Parag also contributed an unbeaten 32*, while Nitish Rana scored four runs. For Gujarat, Prasidh Krishna and Rashid Khan picked one wicket each.

Sudharsan scored 39 off 30 balls before being dismissed by Maheesh Theekshana, who was Gujarat’s best bowler with two wickets.
Later, Gill and Buttler added 74 runs off 38 balls for the second wicket.
Jos Buttler remained unbeaten at 50, hitting three fours and four sixes.
Buttler also became the third-highest run-scorer at Sawai Mansingh Stadium with 819 runs.
Rahul Tewatia contributed nine runs before being dismissed, and Shahrukh Khan remained unbeaten on five.
