Actually, this rebellion started after the speculation of changing the Chief Minister in Rajasthan after the announcement of Ashok Gehlot to contest the Congress Presidential elections. After Gehlot, there was talk of making Sachin Pilot the Chief Minister, but the MLAs of the Gehlot camp are not happy about the name of Sachin Pilot. The MLAs of the Gehlot camp have demanded that the new chief minister be among the 102 MLAs who were loyal to the Congress party in June 2020, when an attempt was made to topple the Congress government.
