Captain Cool, who is called the most successful captain of the Indian cricket team, although he is not very active on social media, but the current captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL, Dhoni has said in his latest post on Facebook that Sunday, On 25 September at 2 pm, he will share a message for his loved ones.
Dhoni, the captain of CSK, the second most successful team of IPL, has said that he will give exciting news on Facebook on Facebook Live. He wrote- “I will share a news with you. I’ll be talking about it on Facebook Live on September 25th at 2 PM. Hope you will be with you at that time.”
Significantly, MS Dhoni retired from international cricket on 15 August 2020. But, stayed with IPL and is the captain of Chennai Super Kings. The history of MS Dhoni’s international cricket career shows that under his captaincy, India has won all three ICC trophies. He has the renown of winning the ICC T20 World Cup, 2007, ICC ODI World Cup, 2011 and the ICC Champions Trophy, 2013. He played 90 Tests, 350 One Day Internationals and 98 T20I matches in his career. He has scored 4876 runs in Test cricket, 10,773 in ODIs and 1617 runs in T20Is.
Talking about IPL, MS Dhoni has played a total of 234 matches so far, in which he played some matches for Pune Supergiants apart from CSK. It is worth noting that the upcoming season IPL 2023 will be played in the ‘Home and Away Format’. This means that his wish to play at his home ground, the M A Chinnaswamy Stadium, Chennai, can be fulfilled.
