Coimbatore: Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has shown his great game in the IPL. He is currently playing in the Duleep Trophy, where he has scored a brilliant double century. West Zone scored 376 runs for the loss of three wickets in the second innings against South Zone on the third day of the five-day match. Jaiswal also hit 23 fours and three sixes in his unbeaten innings of 244 balls.
After being trailed by 57 runs in the first innings by Jaiswal’s scintillating batting, West Zone made a brilliant comeback to take a 319-run lead at the end of the day’s play with seven wickets remaining. During this, Jaisawal made an unbroken partnership of 169 with Shreyas Iyer (71) for the third wicket and 58 runs with Sarfaraz Khan (30 not out) for the fourth wicket. Due to which his team got tremendous strength.
