BCCI in its statement said,The All-India Senior Selection Committee, in consultation with the Indian team management, has decided to release Jaydev Unadkat from the Indian squad for the second Test of India’s MasterCard tour of Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.”

BCCI said,Jaydev will now join the Saurashtra team, which has qualified for the Mastercard Ranji Trophy final, to be played against Bengal at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata from February 16.
