New Delhi: The second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy starting here from Friday between India and Australia (India vs Australia Test Series) will be played in a packed stadium. Delhi is hosting the Test for the first time since December 2017. The Indian team has taken a 1-0 lead in the four-match series by winning the first Test match played in Nagpur within three days.
DDCA (Delhi and District Cricket Association) joint secretary Rajan Manchanda told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ on Tuesday, “Tickets have been sold out and we are expecting a packed ground.” There is a lot of interest in the match as a Test match is being played in Delhi after a long time.

The Arun Jaitley Stadium has a seating capacity of 40,000 spectators. 24,000 tickets were put on sale for this match while 8000 tickets were distributed among DDCA members, which is normal. The remaining seats will be used for dignitaries attending the game. A section of the stand is reserved for families providing security during matches.
