Tharoor to file nomination for the post of president on September 30
At the same time, Lok Sabha member Shashi Tharoor will file nomination for the post of Speaker on September 30. As per the announced schedule for the election of Congress President, the notification was issued on September 22 and the process of filing nomination papers began on September 24, which will continue till September 30. The last date for withdrawal of nomination papers is October 08. In case of more than one candidate, voting will be held on October 17 and results will be declared on October 19.
