    Former Indian Cricketer | Former Indian cricketer received death threats, has played many matches with Rohit-Jadeja

    Mumbai: The former Indian cricketer is in trouble. Recently it has been reported that former Indian cricketer Ravikant Shukla has become a victim of fraud. Ravikant has been cheated of about Rs 71 lakh. He has lodged a complaint about this with the police. But after this complaint, Ravikant is getting death threats along with his family.

    Ravikant Shukla led the Indian team in the Under-19 World Cup in 2006. Current leading cricketers like captain Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ishant Sharma, Piyush Chawla etc. have played in the India Under 19 team under Ravikant. Ravikant Shukla has accused the Yazdan builder of duping him of Rs 71 lakh. The cricketer has filed a cheating case against the Yazdan builder at the Hazratganj police station.

    According to media reports, Ravikant Shukla had bought the apartment from Yazdan Builder. At that time the builder had said that the construction of this apartment is legal as per the rules of LDA. But later it was found that the apartment was built on illegal land and the LDA declared the apartment illegal and demolished it in December. After this, cricketer Ravikant Shukla demanded Rs 71 lakh back from the Yazdan builder. Due to this, he and his family have been threatened with death. The cricketer then filed a police complaint against the concerned builder. Presently the police is investigating the matter.

    35 years old Indian cricketer Ravikant Shukla is a native of Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. According to Police Inspector Akhilesh Mishra of Hazratganj police station, Ravikant has said in the complaint that Ravikant had booked two flats in Yazdan Builder’s Prag Narayan Road Alaya Heritage Apartment. Ravikant alleges that 7 people cheated him of Rs 71 lakh by cheating.
