Mohan Bhagwat: RSS chief with Muslim intellectuals and Imam Mohan Bhagwat Many questions are being raised regarding his meeting and his madrasa visit. While Congress and Rahul Gandhi are constantly accusing the BJP government and the RSS of increasing communal tension in the country, on the other hand, Sangh chief Bhagwat himself is seen taking the front while advocating for strengthening communal harmony in the country. On 22nd August of last month, Bhagwat met a group of Muslim intellectuals. Exactly a month after this meeting, today i.e. on 22nd September, he first went to the mosque located at Kasturba Gandhi Marg in New Delhi and met with Dr. Imam Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, the head of the All India Imam Organization and then reached Madrasa Tajweedul Quran in Old Delhi and read there. Interacted with children and teachers teaching.
After all, what does Mohan Bhagwat want to achieve?
It seems that in the midst of the ever-changing environment of the country, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has Muslim community has taken over the responsibility of interaction, interaction and communication with Questions are being raised whether the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is changing? Is the Sangh’s thinking about Muslims changing and the biggest question is what is the RSS’s agenda behind all this? After all, what does Mohan Bhagwat want to achieve? Tried to know the answer of all these questions being raised by the opponents from Sunil Ambekar, senior leader of the Sangh and currently handling the responsibility of All India Campaign Head in the Sangh. Sunil Ambekar while interacting said that the Sangh has been against terrorism and separatism and we believe that everyone should oppose bigotry and together should try to create harmony in the society. It is the collective responsibility of all.
‘Sangha does not object to any kind of worship method’
Ambekar further said that the Sangh has never had any objection to any form of worship. Responding to the questions arising on the meeting of Sangh chief Bhagwat, he made it clear that the Sangh has always been ready to discuss about the interest of the country and society. For this the doors of the Sangh have always been open. At the time of Ayodhya issue also we had discussed with everyone, even at the time of court’s decision, we gave a call not to celebrate and also followed it completely. The Sangh leader further said that people from different sections of the society are meeting us and want to discuss ways to maintain harmony in the country and the Sangh has always been ready for such discussions. There is nothing new in this. The Sarsanghchalaks keep meeting people from different walks of life. This too is part of this ongoing dialogue process.
At the same time, senior RSS leader, Muslim Rashtriya Manch’s founder and chief patron Indresh Kumar said that since the tenure of former RSS chief KS Sudarshan, the Muslims and Christians of the country are constantly in contact with the fact that they make the Sangh political and religious. They want to understand not through leaders but by talking themselves. Hence the Muslim Rashtriya Manch was formed which became one of the biggest platforms to interact with the Muslim community. Similar requests are being made on behalf of these communities for meeting and dialogue with the current Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat. He further said that on a similar request the Sangh chief had met Muslim intellectuals on 22nd August and on the invitation of Akhil Bharatiya Imam Sangathan Pramukh, the Sangh chief went to meet him at his residence in Delhi today, 22nd September.
Bhagwat can also meet Christian religious leaders
Apparently the Sangh is saying that Sangh chief Bhagwat had gone to meet Imam Ilyasi at his house which is on Kasturba Gandhi Marg in Delhi. However, the biggest thing is that we can get to see many such meetings and visits again and again in the coming days and Sangh chief Bhagwat can meet not only Muslims but also with Christian religious leaders and intellectuals of the country. It is being told that in order to maintain dialogue, dialogue and contact with religious leaders and intellectuals of Muslim and Christian community, RSS has also constituted a team of four senior leaders, in addition to Indresh Kumar, Dr. Krishna Gopal, Manmohan Vaidya and Ramlal. like senior leaders.
RSS had established Muslim National Forum during Atal Government
In fact, during the tenure of the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, the BJP, perhaps for the first time, started thinking and implementing strategy at an institutional and comprehensive level to change the mindset of the country’s minority community, especially the Muslim community. By that time the Ramjanmabhoomi temple ie Ayodhya dispute was hanging and no one knew how it would be resolved as the Atal government, which rested on the crutch of support of several political parties, had put the issue on the backburner.
During the Atal government itself, it was also thought that efforts should be made on the RSS front to change the mindset of the Muslims towards the BJP family and it was during the Atal government’s time that the Sangh established the Muslim National Forum and its The command was handed over to one of his senior and experienced leader Indresh Kumar. Muslim Rashtriya Manch has established dialogues with the Muslim community as well as Christians by conducting thousands of programs across the country and has achieved significant success on many fronts.
