    Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 | ICC released the schedule of Women’s T20 World Cup, these days there will be a great match between India and Pakistan

    New Delhi: The ICC has released the schedule of the Women’s T20 World Cup to be held next year. This World Cup will be played in South Africa. Team India’s first match in this tournament is to be against Pakistan (IND W vs PAK W) in Cape Town on 12 February. A total of 10 teams will participate in the tournament.

    The eighth edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will start from February 10, 2023. Whereas the host team South Africa will play the first match against Sri Lanka. Matches of the tournament will be played in Paarl and Gkebera while Cape Town will host the knockout matches. ICC has shared this information on Twitter.

    The final match of the Women’s T20 World Cup will be played on 26 February 2023. A separate reserve day has also been kept for the finals as February 27. In this tournament, India are placed in Group 2 along with Pakistan, England, West Indies and Ireland. Whereas the defending champions in Group 1 are Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

    The group stage matches of the tournament will be played till February 21. Where, each team will play one match against the remaining four other teams in their group. After that the top two teams each from both the groups will get a place in the semi-finals and then the two teams which will be successful in winning the semi-finals will reach the final.
