Harmanpreet Kaur said, “We batted well. The Thai bowlers performed well and scoring runs was not easy. We had to work hard. If there are runs close to 150 on the score board, then it gives confidence. Praising off-spinner Deepti Sharma, who took three wickets for seven runs, he said, “She is ready to bowl at any stage. It’s nice to have such a bowler in the team.”
India will face either Sri Lanka or Pakistan in the final on Saturday. Harmanpreet said, “We are ready for the final. Whichever team is in front, we will strategize and play accordingly. Thailand captain Ann Chaiwai said, “This tournament has been a good lesson for us. We have talented players and the more we play, the more we will learn.”
