After the immense popularity and success of Men’s IPL, now BCCI is working on every angle regarding the success of Women’s IPL. A total of 5 teams are said to be involved in the first season of the Women’s IPL. For which BCCI will float the tender. According to sources, the base price of each franchise will be Rs 400 crore. The board will soon release the notice for the E-Auction. Significantly, the franchise of Men’s IPL can also participate in this auction.

According to the information received, a total of 20 league matches will be played in the first season of the Women’s IPL. Each team will play 2-2 matches against each other and the two toppers of the points table will reach the finals. Playing-11 of each franchise will not have more than 5 foreign players.
