But, now the Pul Nirman Nigam has made preparations to make green belt afresh in the part of Lohia Path Chakra including Bailey Road. For this, space has been left in the design of the project.

Under the new planning, in lieu of the trees removed during the construction of the bridge, vacant land has now been left at various places. The forest department has been told the location for making green belt. Along with landscaping at various places, 910 trees will be planted in the first phase of the Path Chakra. According to the officials of the Bridge Construction Corporation, there is a rule to plant three times the number of trees that have been removed as part of the construction project. Due to this, preparations are on to make green belts in different parts of Lohia Path Chakra.

Replantation in LCT Ghat area

More than 100 trees are being cut and shifted to make a flyover in Boring Road. According to the information, the work of uprooting the trees from Boring Road and planting old trees around the LCT Ghat in the coastal area of ​​Ganga is going on. Earlier, trees were replanted in Digha area as well. If officials are to be believed, 40 to 45 percent of the trees uprooted in the first phase of Lohia Path Chakra have become green again. The officers have also claimed to have successfully replanted banyan and peepal.
