On Monday, the air of all the cities has been recorded in the clean category amid the continuous rain in Delhi-NCR. This is the first time in this season that the air of all cities has reached the clean category. The air standards agencies have forecast that the air quality is not likely to change much for the next three days due to the rainy season.
At the same time, there is no hope of relief from rain in Uttar Pradesh yet. The Meteorological Department has again issued a warning of heavy rain in the state for Tuesday. Schools have been closed for all children up to class XII in Lucknow due to the rain warning. Schools remained closed on Monday as well. At the same time, thunderstorms are expected in many districts including Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidasnagar after taking out many areas including Lucknow on Wednesday. Rain is possible in Banda, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur and adjoining areas. Earlier on October 5, it had received 38.8 mm of rain.
