New Delhi: Pakistan’s star bowler Wahab Riaz has received great news. Wahab Riaz is currently bowling well in the Bangladesh Premier League. Meanwhile, he has been appointed as the Sports Minister of the Caretaker Government of Punjab province of Pakistan. He is currently busy in Bangladesh league, so he cannot take oath now. But, he will take oath after returning from Bangladesh.

It is known that Wahab Riaz took a total of 237 wickets in 156 matches for Pakistan in all three formats of cricket. He was also a part of the Pakistani team that won the Champions Trophy in the year 2017. However, in 2019, Riaz took a break from the Test match. He now wants to concentrate fully on the ODI match. However, for the last 2 years, he could not even play limited overs cricket for Pakistan.
Wahab Riaz is doing wonders in the Bangladesh League. He took 9 wickets in the last 10 days. A few days ago, he had achieved the feat of taking 400 T20 wickets. He became the first player from Pakistan to achieve this special feat. Not only this, he also became the sixth bowler in the world to do so after Dwayne Bravo, Rashid Khan, Sunil Narine, Imran Tahir and Shakib Al Hasan.
