Earlier the idol was installed in an open place outside the village. Which was later made safe by making a temple. The last theft attempt was made in the year 2014. Thieves tried their best to take away the idol but could not take it outside the village limits. If the people of the village are to be believed, then some unpleasant incident has definitely happened with those who have tried to steal the idol.

On the day of Ram Navami, people come from far off places to worship Bhairo Baba. It is a belief that whoever prays to Bhairon Baba with a true heart. His wishes definitely come true. Apart from pain and disease, couples also come to ask for a vow for having a child. After the wish is fulfilled, after worshiping in the temple premises itself, the work of shaving is done.
