Uttar Pradesh: Three people died, while two were injured due to lightning in Prayagraj district of UP on Friday evening. According to the information released by the District Magistrate’s office, 40-year-old Naresh of Tewara village of Sadar tehsil and 15-year-old Usman of Beli village died due to lightning. Apart from this, 13-year-old Raja Babu of Kathoti village in Meja tehsil also died due to lightning. At the same time, 34-year-old Ram Singh of Tewara village and 25-year-old Gayal of Beli village were injured due to lightning.
The bodies of the dead have been sent for post-mortem, while the injured have been admitted to the hospital. It is noteworthy that on Friday evening there was heavy rain in the district along with lightning, due to which many areas of the city were submerged.
Aligarh: Three people including a woman died
In Aligarh, three people, including a woman, were buried under the debris due to lightning and house collapse in the district due to heavy rains for five days. While there are reports of many people getting injured in different accidents. 65-year-old Bismillah wife Naseer Khan died in Nagoula village of Kol tehsil due to lightning due to rain. Somdev and his wife Manadevi were seriously injured when the house collapsed in Raipur village of the same tehsil area. Those who have been admitted to JN Medical College.
In Gaonari village of Tehsil Gabhana, 62-year-old Gyanchand died after being buried under the rubble after his house collapsed. 65-year-old Nem Singh died due to lightning in Hamirpur village of Atrauli area. ADM Finance and Revenue Amit Kumar Bhatt said that due to rain in the district, a survey is being done for the loss of people, animals and crops.
