Jharkhand News: In the battle for supremacy between Naxalite organizations, a hardcore Naxalite Vikas Lohra was killed late on Thursday night in Mahua Khurra under Budhmu police station area of Ranchi district. He was the commander of an armed platoon of the banned Naxalite organization Jharkhand Janmukti Parishad. He remained a challenge for the police of Ranchi, Ramgarh and Latehar districts. The name of Vikas Lohra was terror in the rural areas of these three districts.
SP Naushad Alam confirmed the death
Ranchi Rural SP Naushad Alam has confirmed the death of Vikas Lohra. The police have also recovered his body from the dense forest. Meanwhile, Vikrant of the second banned Naxalite organization TSPC (Third Conference Presentation Committee) has claimed responsibility for the murder. He has called the media representatives and said that Vikas was involved in the murder of six associates of his organization. That’s why he has been murdered.
Vikas Lohra was shot dead
It is being told that Vikas Lohra has been shot dead. He was arrested and sent to jail several times in the past by the police of Latehar, Ramgarh and Ranchi districts. About a dozen cases are registered against him in different police stations. After coming out of jail on bail, he was extorting extortion in the coal-carrying areas in these three districts. In several recent incidents, the police were trying to arrest him.
Last month, the squad led by him had closed the ghat after beating people working at Chhapar sand ghat. On this incident, the rival Naxalite organization TSPC issued a press release threatening the development.
The war of supremacy going on between Naxalite organizations
In fact, in five-six districts of Jharkhand, the battle for supremacy between the Naxalite organization JJMP and TSPC is going on for a long time. There have been at least a dozen encounters between these two organizations in the last four-five years. Many Naxalites have also been killed in this.
