Union Road Construction Minister Nitin Gadkari will lay the foundation stone of the bridge going to be built on the Son river connecting Bihar-Jharkhand in Rohtas on Monday. The foundation stone program is to be done in Panduka of Nowhatta block of Kaimur hill area of the district. Security has been tightened in the area regarding the program of the Union Minister.
Giving information in this regard, SP Ashish Bharti said that the foundation stone of Panduka Bridge will be laid by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. From the point of view of security, police officers and force were deployed at the venue. A special order has been issued regarding drones. Under no circumstances can any drone fly within 5 km radius of the venue, strict action will be taken against those who violate the order.
A bridge will be constructed over the Son river at a cost of Rs 145 crore. The length of the bridge will be about one and a half kilometer and width will be 7.5 meters. With the construction of this bridge, the distance from Bihar to Jharkhand will be reduced. Also, the distance of Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh will be less. Sasaram MP Chhedi Paswan has also visited the site regarding the program. The state president of BJP will also be present in the program.
