In the first season of the ICC Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup played at Senwes Park Potchefstroom, South Africa, the Indian women’s team created history by defeating England (IND W U-19 vs ENG W U-19) in the final match. . India’s daughters beat England by 7 wickets and hoisted the tricolor.

After this victory, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announced the prize money for the team. He announced that the players and support staff of Team India will be given a reward of Rs 5 crore by the board.

In the final match of the ICC Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup, 2023, played on Sunday, January 29, the Indian bowlers got rid of the sixes of the England team who came out to bat first. Deadly and tight bowling by the Indian bowlers piled on the entire England team for a score of 68 runs. Chasing the target of 69 runs against England, the Indian team scored 69 runs for the loss of 3 wickets and hoisted the tricolor.
