The special police team of Muzaffarpur district seized a huge quantity of liquor from a litchi plantation located at Sadatpur under Kanti police station. Two disciples of Muzaffarpur’s notorious criminal Chunnu Thakur were also arrested from the spot. A truck and a luxury car were also seized from there. Chunnu Thakur was also present there and he was unloading liquor. He fled as soon as the police arrived. The police arrested his henchmen Ravi alias Ravi Master and Amit Chaudhary. The liquor and both the vehicles were confiscated and brought to the police station. Giving information about this, DSP West Abhishek Anand said that dozens of cases are already registered against Chunnu and both of his henchmen only in Muzaffarpur. Apart from this, there are many serious cases including alcohol, murder in many districts of North Bihar. A special police team is conducting raids in search of Chunnu.

Chunnu running a big liquor syndicate in North Bihar

If police sources are to be believed, Chunnu Thakur is running a big liquor syndicate in North Bihar. Ravi Master was accompanying him in this. In the absence of Chunnu, he used to handle the whole business. This time also a consignment of liquor was ordered from another state. Which was being unloaded in the litchi plantation. Meanwhile, SSP Jayantakant got information about this. He formed the team under the leadership of DSP West along with Kanti Thanedar Sanjay Kumar. The team raided and took the said action.

Chunnu escaped once again

Chunnu Thakur has become a headache for the police of many districts. Dozens of cases of murder and alcohol are registered against him. But, he is not being arrested. It is also being said from the liquor business that he has created illegal assets worth crores of rupees. But, the police do not have any data on this. Even before this, a case was registered against Chunnu at Saraiya police station. His disciples were also arrested by the police from an apartment located in Kachi Pakki. A case was registered against him also. But, the police could not trace his whereabouts till date.
