- Two Members Of Cyber Fraud Gang Arrested In Bettiah, 27 ATM Cards, Seven Mobiles And Bikes Seized, The Gang Was Running In A Rented House

The Bettiah police team has arrested two members of the gang who were withdrawing and transferring money from people’s account by taking OTP and secret code from unknown persons with the help of fake seam and mobile. In the matter, Bettiah Superintendent of Police Upendra Nath Verma issued a press release and informed that on Saturday evening secret information was received that some people are secretly doing cyber crime work by taking a rented room in Bachchan Sah’s house in ITI Jayaprakash Nagar.
Based on the information, a team has been formed under the leadership of Mufassil Police Station President Rakesh Kumar Bhaskar. In which Rajeev Kumar Rajak, Dhananjay Kumar, constable Bablu Kumar, Kamlesh Kumar and K Devendra Kumar of Mufassil police station were included. Based on the information, the team formed surrounded the residence of Bachchan Sah. During this, two youths were caught talking on mobile somewhere in the hut located east of Bachchan Sah’s house.
The arrested youth has been identified as Vijay Kumar Ram alias Pappu and Hakim Alam, residents of Jokatiya village under Majhaulia police station area. 27 ATMs of various banks, seven mobile phones, a driving license and a bike were seized from both when they were searched. Both the arrested youths have accepted in the interrogation of the police that they get ATM cards of different banks made by fraudulently using the Aadhaar cards of the innocent villagers.
And with the help of fake SIM and mobile, they get their Gupta ATM code by giving OTP and different types of greed to unknown persons. By taking secret code and OTP, people’s money is withdrawn by various means by transferring it from their bank account to their fake account. The SP said that the arrested youths are being sent to judicial custody.
