Let us tell you that on August 28, Noida’s Sector-93A Twin Tower was demolished with the help of thousands of kilos of explosion. After which now its debris is being disposed of.

    Victory Day will be celebrated on 19 October

    According to media reports, on October 19, the people of the society will celebrate Vijay Diwas. It is being prepared. Udaybhan Singh Teotia, President of the Society’s RWA, said that in the program where the story of the demolition of the Twin Towers, their construction and struggle will be told through the laser light show. It will tell how the society has created a new history in the entire country and this is the first time when such a huge tower was demolished in the country with such a big action plan. Officers and other people working for this will also be honored in the program of this Vijay Diwas.

    On August 28, the twin towers in the premises of Supertech Emerald Court were demolished with 3,500 kg of explosives. It was made under the wrong rules. The building was demolished by Jet Demolition and Edifice Engineering following the orders of the Supreme Court. It turned out to be about 80 thousand tons of debris. which is being disposed of. It is believed that there is a plan to recycle the debris and convert it into construction material.

    It will take three months to remove about 80 thousand tons of debris

    Significantly, 915 residential apartments, including 40 storeys and 21 shops, were proposed in the twin tower. About 5,000 people from the Emerald Court and ATS Village, two societies located adjacent to these structures, were evacuated before they were demolished. In addition, around 3,000 vehicles and 150-200 pets, including cats and dogs, were also removed. According to estimates, it will take about three months to remove 55 to 80 thousand tonnes of debris generated after the demolition of the Twin Towers. Significantly, on 31 August 2021, the Supreme Court had ordered the demolition of the Twin Towers. The court had said that the building rules were violated with the connivance of the district officials.
