For this, preparations have been started by the department. This time around 60 percent of the fields could not be sown in paddy. Farmers have started sowing in the vacant fields. Improved seeds are being given to the farmers by the department at subsidized rates. For this, farmers can apply online.

District Agriculture Officer Vishnudev Kumar Ranjan told that this time there will be no shortage of manure in Rabi season. Adequate quantity of manure is available in the district. Sowing has just started.
