There was a ruckus on the film from the beginning, which is not taking the name of stopping. The film is out of theaters but the difficulties are still not taking the name of diminishing. Even now there is a continuous demand to ban the film. For this a petition was also filed in the Allahabad High Court. On which the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court is hearing. The court has strongly reprimanded the filmmaker including the censor board. At the same time, in the next hearing, the High Court has issued an order summoning producer Bhushan Kumar, director Om Raut and Manoj Muntashir, according to which all three will have to appear in the court.

Let us tell you that the High Court has heard the ban petition of the film twice, but till now the makers and writers of the film have not appeared in the court, after which now the Lucknow bench of the High Court has asked the producers of the film, Bhushan Kumar, Om Raut. And Manoj Muntashir has been summoned in person. The order states that on the next date, all three will have to appear before the High Court. Along with this, the High Court has also asked to form a committee of five members. There should be two members in the committee who are knowledgeable about Valmiki Ramayana, who should see whether the way Ram, Sita, Hanuman, Ravana, Vibhishan’s wife etc. were shown in the film is correct. The committee has to file its report in the court in 15 days.

Even before this matter was heard in the court, in which the High Court reprimanded the Censor Board too. Advocate Ashwini Kumar was present in the court on behalf of the Censor Board. Advocate Ashwini Singh, appearing on behalf of the Censor Board, was asked what the Censor Board keeps doing? Cinema is the mirror of the society, what do you want to teach the future generations? Does the Censor Board not understand its responsibilities? The court also said that not only Ramayana but at least spare religious texts like Holy Quran, Guru Granth Sahib and Gita, rest are doing whatever they do.

In December last year, a PIL seeking a stay on the film’s release was filed in the Allahabad High Court. This petition was filed by social activists Kuldeep Tiwari and Bandana Kumar. At the same time, an amendment application was filed in the public interest litigation in the court. In this amendment petition, it has been said that in the film ‘Adipurush’, the characters of the epic Ramayana have been shown distorted and the dialogues written by Manoj Muntashir are also very bad, which are completely different from Indian civilization.
