Digital Desk, Mumbai. After ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘The Kerala Story’, now the film ’72 Hooren’ remains a topic of discussion. At the same time, many religious and Muslim leaders of Kashmir have objected to this and have demanded to ban this movie. At the same time, the trailer of the film is to be released on June 28. But before that the censor board has refused to give certificate to the trailer. Now the trailer of the film will not be shown in the theatre. In such a situation, the makers will be able to release it on the digital platform only. After this decision, the co-producer of the film Ashok Pandit has expressed his displeasure. After which there has been a debate about creative freedom and censorship. Now the makers are going to release the trailer today i.e. on June 28 at 11 am on the digital platform.
Questions raised on the censor board
Let us tell you that everyone is surprised by this decision of the Central Board of Film Certification because earlier the Censor Board had given the green signal to the film and now it has refused to give the certificate to the film. After this decision, the makers of the film are infuriated. They are talking about taking the film to higher authorities, along with this they will also request the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to interrogate the higher officials of the Censor Board.
Ashok Pandit got angry
Ashok Pandit is very angry with the decision of the Central Board of Film Certification. He said during an interview, ‘Who are these people sitting there? This matter is very serious. The film which was given the National Award by the government, was highly appreciated. The censor board refused to give him the certificate. The same thing is shown in the trailer, which is in the film. You have raised a big question by not giving certificate to the trailer. So we makers would like to question Prasoon Joshi, Chairperson, CBFC. Who are the people of the Censor Board who have taken this decision? I want to request IB Minister Anurag Thakur to investigate this. What is the reason why the trailer of the National Award winning film is not being given certificate. Who are those people who are defaming the censor board. I hope we get justice.
This is the story of the film
Terrorism is a major matter of concern all over the world and these terrorists are none other than some people just like us. Those whose brains are brainwashed with poison and they adopt the path of terrorism in the name of Jihad. 72 Hooren is a film that will try to show how terrorists during training are made to believe that 72 virgin girls will serve them in Jannat after death. The film is produced by two-time National Award winner Sanjay Puran Singh.
