    BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said in a release, “The All India Senior Selection Committee has included Mohammed Shami in place of Jasprit Bumrah in India’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup squad. Shami has arrived in Australia and will join the team before the warm-up matches in Brisbane.

    Shami will be included in the main team in place of Bumrah, it was reported by PTI last month. Mohammad Siraj and Shardul Thakur were selected as the ‘backup’ players and will be leaving for Australia soon. The tournament will be played from October 16 to November 13.
