T20 World Cup 2022: Team India’s tremendous performance continues in the T20 World Cup being played in Australia. Rohit Sharma’s team defeated Pakistan in the first match and Netherlands in the second match. The next match is against South Africa. The team management is busy in strengthening its preparations. The latest news is coming from Akshar Patel. All-rounder Axar Patel has revealed that the team management has asked him to be ready to play higher up the batting order. Actually, the team is missing Ravindra Jadeja. It is also necessary to have a left hander in the batting order so that the pace of the bowlers can be disturbed. Now in the absence of Jadeja, Gujarat all-rounder Axar Patel is being groomed. Akshar has been clearly told that whenever needed, he will be sent up the batting order.
The team did this experiment in the match against Pakistan, but unfortunately Axar was run out in that match. Axar, who did well against the Netherlands, said, “Pakistan had left-arm spinner Nawaz and leg-spinner Shadab, so it was important to send the left-hander and I was asked to leave.”
