Suryakumar Yadav’s explosive batting in the recent past few international T20 matches has brought an uproar in the world of cricket. Former Indian team selector Sab Karim said in a special conversation with a channel that if seen, Team India seems to be largely dependent on Suryakumar Yadav these days.
There is no doubt about this statement of Saba Karim because, the world is shocked to see the ruckus that Suryakumar Yadav has created in the recent few matches. In the first two matches of the ongoing 3-match T20 series against South Africa (IND vs SA T20I Series, 2022), his bat lit a lot of fire. In the first match of this fresh series, Suryakumar Yadav played a stormy innings of 50 in 33 balls and 61 runs in 22 balls in the second.
Sab Karim said, “Now India’s chances of winning the T20 World Cup have become more dependent on Suryakumar Yadav. And I am saying this because he bats in a difficult sequence. It is not easy to play with this strike-rate in T20 format. But, Suryakumar makes this motion easy. This is because of his skill and experience.”

He further said that Suryakumar’s ability to find gaps in the right areas is so great that sometimes he plays with the bowlers. There are many such areas here, which Yadav redeems very easily and in the best way. I hope and pray that he does well and continues his great form in the World Cup as well.”
It is worth noting that currently Suryakumar Yadav is the world’s second number batsman with 801 points in the latest ICC T20 World Batting Rankings. Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan (Mohammad Rizwan wicket-keeper Batter) is at the top with 861 points in the first place.
