Saikia said, ‘I think you are talking about those two incidents in the match. One of these is the snake incident. At some places (matches) we see streakers (nude), and in some places we see intruders enter the field. But something different happened here and a snake entered. I am sure the snake came to enjoy the match. Also he would like to see the players closely.

He said, ‘I am sure the snake must be enjoying and trying to watch the players closely while scoring runs. Every ball was hit for sixes and fours. That snake too must have been very sad when our staff caught it and threw it out. Our Mr. Boro did not delay and caught the snake and threw it out.

The lights of the ground were turned off during this match. Talking about the incident, Saikia said, “I think it is not a big deal. One MCB had tripped. He was immediately corrected and matched. I think we don’t have LED system in the stadium. It was an all-metal system, which will be replaced in the next two-three months.
