    A cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. 31 agendas were stamped in this meeting. In the cabinet meeting, the government has approved the creation of 72 posts of different categories to set up 8 additional special courts for speedy disposal of cases related to liquor.

    Under the scheme for social and economic empowerment through livelihood promotion, capacity building and financial assistance to the extremely poor families directly and indirectly involved in the production and sale of liquor and toddy and targeted extremely poor families belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other community communities. Approval has been given to use 610 crores in the entire state through Jeevika, the ongoing scheme earning scheme. Under the livelihood scheme, assistance of one lakh rupees will be given to such families, which are engaged in the production and sale of country liquor or toddy.

    Other decisions taken in the cabinet

    In the cabinet meeting, approval has been given to create a total of 432 posts of different categories for 54 special courts to be set up for execution of cases registered under the POCSO Act. Approval has been given to create 24 posts of different categories for the establishment of Bihar Scheduled Tribe Research and Training Institute.

    In the cabinet meeting, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has approved the implementation of the provisions of the Revised Guidelines 2022 of the Separate Central Central Scheme for Assistance to Civilians Victims of Terrorism, Sect-Naxalite Violence, Cross-Border Firing and Landmine Blasts in the State of Bihar. has been approved. Now in Bihar, the death anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel will be celebrated every year on 15 December as a state function in Patna.

    At the same time, Anganwadi Sevika Sahayika Selection Guide 2022 was approved under the Integrated Child Development Services Scheme. Under the Centrally Sponsored Smart City Mission, instead of the administrative approval of the estimated expenditure of Rs 2776 crore 16 lakh on the Patna Smart City Scheme, Rs 982 crore 50 lakh was approved.
