MTC is distributed by the Social Welfare Department under the Sambal Yojana. To avail the benefits of the scheme, one can apply online. The distribution program was organized today by selecting Divyangjan on the basis of the applications given earlier. The faces of all the needy lit up as soon as they received MTC.
Giving information about this, District Legal Cell Coordinator Sanjeev Kumar Jaiswal said that 89 disabled people were selected for distribution of motor tricycles. Today, distribution was done among 40 people. The remaining people will be distributed on the next date.
MTC has been distributed under the Sambal Yojana to physically handicapped people (with disability in both legs) to earn a living and to carry out their needs. Applications are taken as per the District Divyang Jan Sashaktikaran Yojana from which MTC is distributed to the needy after selecting them.
