Rohit Sharma T20I Record: Rohit Sharma made a new world record in the Nagpur T20 match against Australia. Rohit became the sixer king in T20I cricket. This match was 8-8 overs due to wet ground, but Hitman Sharma took the record as soon as he hit the first six.
The Indian captain hit a six in the third ball of the first over against Australia. Now he became the batsman to hit the most number of sixes in the short format of cricket. He has left New Zealand’s Martin Guptill behind in this matter. Guptill has 172 sixes to his name. Rohit took his number of sixes to 173 while hitting the first six against Australia.
In the list of batsmen who have hit most sixes in T20I cricket, Rohit Sharma is first, Martiv Guptill is second and Chris Gayle of West Indies is in third place. The left-handed explosive batsman has hit 124 sixes in 79 matches. England’s Eoin Morgan is fourth in this list with 120 sixes. Australian captain Aaron Finch is at the fifth position with 119 sixes.
