Rishabh Pant in IPL 2023: Team India’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant, who was injured in a road accident, is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dehradun. The latest news is that it may take up to 6 months for the cricketer to fully recover and return to the field. This means that Rishabh Pant will not be able to play this year’s IPL. Also, will not be a part of Team India on Australia tour. The question is who will be included in Team India in his place and who will be the captain of the Delhi team in his absence in IPL?

    rishabh pant accident update

According to Dr. Qamar Azam of AIIMS Rishikesh, Pant will take at least three to six months to recover from the ligament injury. If the injury is severe, it may take longer to heal. Pant suffered two cuts on his forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee and also sustained injuries on his right wrist, ankle, toe and back.

Who will become the captain of Delhi

IPL 2023 is going to start in March and end in May. Due to Pant not playing in IPL 2023, Delhi Capitals (DC) may have to look for a new captain. Australian David Warner could be the first choice for the franchise. Warner previously captained Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL and also led them to the title in 2016.

Who will REPLACE Rishabh Pant in India vs Australia Test series

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 between India and Australia will begin on February 9, in which four Tests will be played. According to the report, there are three names on which the discussion has started. These are KS Bharat, Upendra Yadav and Ishaan Kishan. Even Kerala wicketkeeper and batsman Sanju Samson is in the running.
