Railway preparations start as soon as the cold starts: 96 fog safety devices installed in trains operating from Narkatiaganj, effective even in fog

With the onset of cold, railways have started their preparations to ensure that rail traffic remains smooth in the fog. 96 fog safety devices have been made available to the Railways so that the train driver does not face any problem. This device will be given to all railway drivers so that they do not face any problem during fog. These devices will be installed in trains operating from Narkatiaganj railway station in the district.

Device works on GPS system

In order to provide safe travel facility to railway passengers in fog, railway officials are installing fog safety devices on the engines. Along with this, guidelines have also been issued to the drivers for safe operation of the train in case of low visibility. Availability of visibility test objects has been ensured at the affected stations. Fog safety devices have been made available to the drivers of the trains running from Narkatiaganj section. Once this device is on, the train driver will be informed in advance about the distance of all the signals located in the section through the GPS system.
