Railway driver had to apply emergency brake in Nawada: Tractor stuck while crossing illegal crossing, accident averted on Kiul-Gaya railway line

In Nawada, a passenger train narrowly escaped being a victim of an accident. The driver averted the accident by applying the emergency brake while acting sensibly. However, due to sudden braking, there was a sharp jerk. This created a stir among the passengers. During this, the train had to be stopped for about 15 minutes. The incident is of illegal crossing on Kiul-Gaya railway line near Jasauli village.

Actually 03355 passenger train from Gaya was going from Gaya towards Kiul. Meanwhile, a tractor started crossing the illegal railway gate at a high speed near Jasauli village. At the same time the tractor got stuck on the middle track. Then the driver of the tractor ran away after opening the engine and left Dala there. The driver, who was taking the train towards Kiul, caught sight of it and sensing the possibility of untoward incident, stopped the train by applying emergency brake.

Due to the sudden braking, the passengers on the train got scared and there was chaos. Then heaved a sigh of relief after getting information about the reason for hitting the brakes. Dala was removed from the track with the help of local people.

After about 15 minutes the train left for the destination. On this whole issue, Railway Station Manager Awadhesh Kumar Suman told that no accident has happened. The commute is a bit late for 15 minutes. Already an abandoned tractor had overturned. There has been no accident of any kind next to the railway line.
