The England team, who went to play on the tour of Pakistan, in the 7-match T20I series (PAK vs ENG T20I Series, 2022), defeated Pakistan in the seventh and final match of the series played on Sunday night at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and 4- Won the series by 1.

In the match played in Lahore on Sunday, 2 October, Pakistan won the toss and invited England to bat first. Coming to the field to bat first, the England team scored 209 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs and gave Pakistan a target of 210 runs to win. The Pakistan team, who came to the ground to chase this target, could only score 142 runs and lost.

The magic of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan did not work

In this match, the opening pair of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan could not last long on the pitch. Shan Masood scored 56 runs in 43 balls. Apart from him, no other batsman of the team could play well.

In this final match of the series, David Malan and Harry Brooke showed a lively game for England. An unbeaten partnership of 108 runs between the two batsmen took the team’s score to 209. David Malan scored 78 in 47 balls and Harry Brooke scored 46 runs in 29 balls.
