India’s journey in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 ended after a semi-final defeat. Now Team India will go to play bilateral series on New Zealand tour. In this tour, instead of the regular coach of Team India, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman will go as the coach.
It is worth noting that in the T20 World Cup, 2022, with Team India touring Australia, head coach Rahul Dravid, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey and batting coach Vikram Rathor will return home after the tournament. After that they will be given rest. All of them will accompany the team on the upcoming Bangladesh tour of the Indian team. Let us tell you that the team of VVS Laxman along with Hrishikesh Kanitkar (batting coach) and Sairaj Bahule (bowling coach) will accompany the Indian team on the tour of New Zealand.
At present, VVS Laxman, the former best batsman of Team India, is the Chief of NCA Bangalore. Let us remind you that before this upcoming tour, Laxman was also the head coach in Team India’s tours of Ireland and Zimbabwe.
In India’s tour of New Zealand, the series between the two countries will run from November 18 to November 30. In this tour, 3-3 matches ODI and T20I series (India vs New Zealand T20 ODI Series, 2022 India on New Zealand Tour) will be played. The tour will feature the first T20I series, the first of which will take place on Friday, 18 November at the Sky Stadium in Wellington. For the second match, Team India will shift base to Mount Maunganui. The second match will take place on Sunday, November 20, at the Bay Oval.
The third and final match of the T20I series will take place on Tuesday 22 November at McLean Park in Napier. After this New Zealand vs India ODI Series, 2022 (India on New Zealand Tour) will be played. The first match of the ODI series will be played at Eden Park on Friday, 25 November. The second match will be played on Sunday, 27 November at Seiden Park and the third and final match of this series will be played on Wednesday, 30 November at Hagley Oval.
