Today, on Friday, October 14, the final match of the New Zealand Tri-Nations T20I Series, 2022 was played between New Zealand and Pakistan. In this match, Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 5 wickets with the contribution of the brilliant innings of Mohammad Nawaz and Iftikhar Ahmed.
Batting first, New Zealand’s team scored 163 runs in this match and gave Pakistan a target of 164 runs to win. Chasing the target, Pakistan’s opener Mohammad Rizwan scored 34 runs, captain Babar Azam made 15 and Shan Masood scored 19 runs to take the team’s score to 74. After that Mohammad Nawaz scored 38 not out in 22 balls, Haider Ali 31 runs in 15 balls and Iftikhar Ahmed scored 25 not out in 14 balls to register the victory. Pakistan scored 168 runs with 3 balls to spare.

Batting first in this match, New Zealand scored 163 runs for 7 wickets. Captain Kane Williamson Captain New Zealand scored 59 runs in 38 balls, which included 4 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from him, Glenn Phillips scored 29 runs and Mark Chapman scored 25 runs.
In the bowling, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf took 2 wickets each. Pakistan, full of confidence and freshness from victory, will now face India in the ICC T20 World Cup, 2022 on 23 October.
