    Nephew stabs uncle with scissors in Nalanda

    Due to a land dispute in Nalanda, the nephew killed his own uncle with a knife on Wednesday. The woman who came to intervene was also stabbed and injured. The case pertains to Mirzapur village of Parwalpur police station area. The deceased is the (45) year old son of late Inder Kewat, Ramesh Kewat, while the injured is Ramesh Kewat’s (40) year old wife Pravila Devi.

    In the context of the incident, the relatives of the deceased said that the incident was carried out due to a land dispute. Even after partition, share is forcibly demanded by Gotia. This morning, when Ramesh Kewat had gone near the village pond for defecation, his nephews Suraj and Neeraj together killed him by stabbing him at many places with sticks and scissors. Pramila Devi, who came to intervene, was also injured. Both the brothers ran away from the spot when there was a lot of noise.

    In this case, the Parwalpur Police Station said that there was a dispute over 2 katha of land, the nephew is being accused of murder. After the incident, the accused fled the village. The injured has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. At the same time, the police have started the process of conducting the post-mortem by taking possession of the dead body. As of now no application has been received in this matter.
