    IMD Weather Update: Monsoon is departing in the country, but there are conditions of rain in Rajasthan, MP as well as Delhi NCR. Monsoon has brought heavy rains in Rajasthan. Due to heavy rains, there was a situation of water logging at many places in Dholpur. Nearby districts have also received heavy rains. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in many places including Odisha, Delhi. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in many districts of Bihar and strong wind is expected. It has also rained in many areas in UP. Meanwhile, due to continuous rain since last night, 6 people died due to wall collapse at two places in the district.

    Rain brings down temperature in Delhi-NCR

    The weather in Delhi and the National Capital Region has turned pleasant due to rains. The rains have brought relief from the humidity to a great extent. At the same time the temperature has dropped due to rain. It rained in Delhi and the National Capital Region on Wednesday. At the same time, the Meteorological Department i.e. IMD said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some parts of Delhi on Thursday as well. Delhi’s primary meteorological center Safdarjung Observatory has recorded only 52.9 mm of rain in September so far, which is much less than the normal 104.8 mm. The month of August had recorded 41.6 mm of rain which is the lowest during the last 14 years. However, the returning monsoon has now seen some rain. On Thursday too, many areas of the National Capital Region were drenched in rain since morning. In many sectors of Noida, there has been a period of drizzle and sometimes heavy rain since morning. According to the Meteorological Department, a total of 405.3 mm of rain has been recorded in Delhi since the onset of monsoon from June 1, while the capital normally receives 621.7 mm of rain during this period.

    Monsoon has started returning from Rajasthan and Gujarat

    The IMD had said that the southwest monsoon has retreated from southwest Rajasthan and adjoining parts of Kutch, three days after the normal date of September 17. It usually takes about a week for the monsoon to return from Delhi after its withdrawal from western Rajasthan.

    MP: Rain continues at many places

    Rain continues at many places in MP as well. It is raining continuously in Indore daily. The capital Bhopal has also received good rains. On the other hand, Ratlam district has received 23% more rain than normal so far. However, he is currently at number four in the division. According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of rain in the district on Thursday.

    Heavy rain warning in Odisha

    Heavy rain warning has been issued in some western and interior districts of Odisha till Thursday. The Meteorological Department gave this information. The Meteorological Department said that due to the formation of low pressure for two consecutive days, heavy rains occurred in the coastal and southern areas of the state. On Wednesday, heavy rains continued in the capital Bhubaneswar and western and interior districts on Wednesday. The Meteorological Office said that the low pressure area formed over North Odisha and its adjoining areas has now reached North Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas. The India Meteorological Department said in its bulletin on Wednesday that it is likely to move west and northwest during the next two days.

    Withdrawal of southwest monsoon begins

    According to the Meteorological Department, the withdrawal of southwest monsoon started on Tuesday. Monsoon is withdrawing from the areas of Kutch in southwest Rajasthan and adjoining Gujarat. This is the first time since 2016 that the withdrawal of monsoon has started in the third week of September. According to the department, the withdrawal of monsoon from these areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat usually occurs from September 17.
