A good news has come for Team India before the ICC T20 World Cup, 2022. The COVID test report of India’s deadly fast bowler Mohammed Shami has come negative.
Mohammed Shami has given this information on his official Instagram account. It is worth noting that about 10 days ago they were found to be COVID positive. Because of this, he had to be out of the T20I series (IND vs SA T20I Series, 2022) being played against South Africa from today.

It is worth noting that a few hours before this news came, BCCI had announced the inclusion of bowler Umesh Yadav in the team for the IND vs SA T20I series, 2022 in place of Shami.
Posting his COVID test report, Mohammed Shami wrote on Instagram, “Negative”. Significantly, Shami is included in the squad for the ICC T20 World Cup, 2022 and has been kept as a stand-by player.
