It is worth noting that Mohammed Shami could not play the T20I series against Australia first and then South Africa due to Corona being infected. But, now after recovering, he is practicing a lot. Significantly, the Indian team is going to travel to Australia on 6 October for the World Cup.

He can fly to Australia with reserve players after the end of the 3-match ODI series against South Africa (IND vs SA ODI Series, 2022). Significantly, after reaching Australia, Team India will have a training session for a week in Perth. This is followed by practice matches against Australia and New Zealand on October 17 and 19. And, India’s match in the World Cup is against Pakistan on 23 October.
