The company said on Wednesday that he will be the company’s brand ambassador for a period of two years.

The company is aiming to take its share to 25 per cent in the Rs 12,000-crore paint industry in the Telugu states.
We will achieve this target in 12-18 months, he said. Our products will be available for sale across 5,000 touch points. We are already making 2,000 colors of paint. We recently added 1,000 more colors. We have introduced color banks to quickly supply any color of customer’s choice. Only multinational companies are providing this facility. We have recently introduced products such as Wood Adhesive, Tile Primer, Wood Polish, Water Proofing Compound.
Techno Paints has set up 25 depots to provide timely supply of paints. We have set up a 50,000 sq ft central storage facility at Patancheru, said Srinivas Reddy. Presently, we have a manufacturing capacity of one lakh tonnes. Our new plants in Palnadu and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and also in Odisha will start production next year. With this, our capacity will increase to 2.5 lakh tonnes.
Recently Techno Paints has got a major project from the Government of Telangana. Under this, the company has taken up the painting work of 26,065 schools under the Mana Oru-Mana Bari and Mana Basti-Mana Bari projects. It completed over 80 real estate projects in the last financial year and currently has 140 projects under its pipeline. It has 250 employees and around 4,000 painters are working for it directly or indirectly.
