Prabhas movie “Adipurush”
The film which seemed to be a huge hit in the first three days of its release, has now come very close to getting the tag of flop at the box office. Pan India star Prabhas seemed to have a big film coming his way after ‘Baahubali 2’, but now another big flop may be added to his account. The collection of the film is continuously decreasing. The film, which collected 221 crores in three days of release, has collected only 39 in 4 days. Even after making many changes, the film is earning in single digit. On the 8th day the film has collected only 3 crores. Fans are extremely disappointed with the film’s useless content and colloquial dialogues lifted from social media.
Salman Khan – “Race 3”
In the last few years, many such big budget films have been seen which accepted defeat at the box office within a week. In the year 2018, where low budget films like Stree, Badhaai Ho collected hugely but big budget films of big superstars could not run even for a week. It started with Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’. This action thriller of Salman came in June 2018 and due to Bhai’s stardom, the film earned more than Rs 144 crore in the first 3 days itself. But from the second week itself, the audience started drifting away from the film. In the second week, the film could earn around Rs 23 crore only. ‘Race 3’ somehow managed to earn Rs 170 crore.
Aamir Khan – “Thugs of Hindostan”
Aamir Khan’s most awaited film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ released in 2018 proved to be a flop at the box office even after good casting and hit songs. Aamir’s grand project made an opening record for Bollywood by earning Rs 52.25 crore on the first day. But after this the negative reviews of the film started showing effect and the film’s earnings kept falling for the next two days. Despite this, Aamir’s film earned Rs 105 crore in the first three days. After earning 139 crores in week one, the film could only earn around 9 crores in the second week. Ultimately the film closed at the box office with Rs 151 crore. According to the news, the film was made in a budget of more than 220 crores.
Shah Rukh Khan – “Zero”
There was a lot of craze among the fans regarding Salman Khan’s film “Zero”, released in the year 2018. The songs and the great star of the film had excited the people a lot. But after the release till now no one understood what was the story of the film. The film earned Rs 90 crore in the first week with a weekend collection of Rs 59 crore. But in the second week, Shahrukh’s film could earn only 6 crores and became a flop. The film’s story and loose screenplay were the major reasons for the film’s flop.
