Life imprisonment to the father who raped the step daughter: Court in Kishanganj also sentenced a fine of Rs 1 lakh, the case is two years old

Father has been sentenced to life imprisonment for raping step daughter in Kishanganj. Additional District Judge Kumar Gunjan sentenced the accused father Jiten Rishidev to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs one lakh. Jiten Rishidev of Dighalbank police station area had committed the incident of rape with his step-daughter, a case was registered in the women’s police station Kishanganj on the written complaint of the victim’s daughter. The matter is two years old.

Investigation found the case to be true

After which the police started investigating the matter. The allegation was proved to be true in the investigation. Government Advocate Manish Saha appealed for the harshest punishment for the accused. After which the court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment. Giving information, Government Advocate Manish Kumar Sah said that in the court of Additional District Judge Kumar Gunjan, accused father Jiten Rishidev has been sentenced to life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 1 lakh. The district administration has been ordered to pay Rs 4 lakh as compensation to the victim.
