MAKKAH — The last group of pilgrims for this year’s Hajj under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah arrived in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.

As many as 1,300 Hajj pilgrims from 90 countries around the world have arrived in the Kingdom under the programme, which is run by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.

The program was implemented on the orders of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to host the pilgrims.

Upon their arrival at their places of residence in Makkah, the pilgrims were greeted with flowers, Zamzam, dates and Saudi coffee.

The pilgrims then proceeded to the Grand Mosque to perform the ritual of Tawaf Al-Qudum (Tawaf of Arrival).

The pilgrims have expressed their thanks and gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for their care and keenness to provide them with everything they needed to perform their rituals comfortably.

The general committee of the program completed various procedures for the guests, including the preparation of their places of residence in Makkah and the holy sites, in addition to charting several daily programs that would be presented to the guest pilgrims until their return home.
