    Kieron Pollard Retirement | Kieron Pollard said goodbye to IPL, now this team will become batting coach

    New Delhi: West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard has said goodbye to the Indian Premier League (IPL). A few days ago there was a report that Mumbai Indians have released Pollard before the auction of this season. Pollard (Pollard Retired from IPL) has played for Mumbai for almost 12 years. This was the first time that Mumbai has released him. After which he has surprised everyone by retiring from IPL. However, Pollard will remain with Mumbai as the batting coach.

    Announcing his retirement, Pollard has written a long post, in which he has told that he wanted to play for a few more years but after talking with Mumbai, he has decided to retire. Pollard wrote in his post, “Mumbai Indians need a change. If I can’t play for Mumbai Indians now, then I can’t see myself playing against Mumbai either. I will be from Mumbai forever.”

    He further wrote that, ‘He is proud to be a part of the most successful team of IPL for 13 years. He further said that playing with many legendary players, won the Champions League title in 2011 and then 2013 and then became champion in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 which is a big deal.

    Pollard has many records in his name. He has been a part of Mumbai Indians for a long time. But, he was a flop in the last season. In such a situation, the news of his release this season was already coming. Pollard made his debut for Mumbai Indians in 2010. After that he remained a part of this champion team. He played a total of 211 matches for Mumbai and scored 3915 runs at a strike rate of 147. He took 79 wickets in bowling in the Champions League and IPL combined.
