Sydney: New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has no intention of saying goodbye to any form of cricket, despite being deprived of winning the T20 World Cup for the second time in a row. Questions are bound to arise about Williamson’s place in the T20 team, who could not do any wonders with the bat in the current World Cup.
New Zealand have failed to reach the semi-finals from the fifth consecutive limited overs World Cup. Williamson said after the seven-wicket loss to Pakistan in the semi-final, “I like to play in all formats. With so much cricket being played, proper management is essential.”

He said, “That’s what I believe. Our journey has been good. We have played good cricket and have to keep that up.” The Indian team will play three T20s and three ODIs on the tour of New Zealand from November 18. (agency)
